About me: I'm a freelance producer and audio engineer with nearly 20 years (whew!) of experience under my belt. I also own a studio in Oxford, MS called Taproot Audio Design where I primarily focus on mixing and mastering CDs as well as offering CD duplication services.
Who I'd like to meet: I'm interested in meeting bands, artists, recording studios and/or other audio geeks interested in high-quality audio production and mastering or anyone else with a taste for good music. I'll try to keep rotating MP3 examples of my work on here as bands post them on their space. A full discography of my work is available in the blog above or with links at my website, www.taprootaudiodesign.com.
Oh yeah! Paul all the way. We lost this time but if he's not too next election we're goin' all the way. its good to hear from you. me and a buddy of mine are going into the studio to do a project in april so i might have some mastering work for you in llate summer or fall.
Hey Jeffery, Great job with the engineering, mix & mastering...you got magic hands...We'll get with you on the artwork after Christmas. Watch me faggots! (i mean honkey), DF
Hey Taproot, Are you doing the Masters for Tweed? I was just wondering, because I recorded a CD with the 'Fishers of Men' first cut through them. Anyhow, they did a pretty good job on that one, although our group made mistakes the mix & master side was real good lol.
Looking forward to it! we should be arriving around 9 or 10 wednesday night, I guess we can meet up in town and then go out to the studio or vice versa.
HEY!!! Thanks for being our friend! WE HAVE A NEW SONG UP, come check it out, let us know what you think! we also have clothing up for sale ...come check it ! Tell everyone you know to come add us :)
I'll probably be attacking Oxford soon, so maybe you can catch one of those. I"ve been tracking some amazing stuff here lately. I'll make sure you get a cd when it comes out. Should be about 1 month now. I haven't been doing a ton of mastering lately, but i have been getting better with my mixing and recording skills.
Got to record at Willie Mitchell's Royal Studios in Memphis on Super Chikan's upcoming album.
They had to wipe my drool off of the mics after i left. And those were just for the "scratch" vocs.
Damn, i wish i could just afford an AKG 414.
All i got is an MXL but i can make it sound about 10X the mic it is.
See you round.
