Le groupe se forme en octobre 2005 avec à la guitare Max, à la basse Gregory, à la batterie Julien et au chant Franz. Apres quelques compositions, le son du groupe se défini rapidement : Un mélange de Hardcore, de Punk et de Métal avec des influences comme Refused, The Ghost Of A Thousand, Raised Fist ou The Bled. Voilà le crédo du combo lyonnais The Amsterdam Red Light District. Novembre 2008, c’est un nouveau tournant pour TARLD avec l’intégration d’Elio pour remplacer Ivan. Il s'intègre facilement au groupe et de nouvelles influences viennent alors se greffer. Il apporte une voix plus "Hardcore" collant complètement au style pensé à l'origine par les membres du groupe avec une voix dans la lignée de Snapcase ou Raised Fist. Le live c’est un peu le principal credo de la formation lyonnaise ! Conscients de l’importance des concerts aujourd’hui pour la promotion des artistes, TARLD aura notamment eu le privilège de sillonner les routes françaises et européennes en compagnie de groupes comme Sick Of It All (USA), 36 Crazy Fists (USA), Unearth (USA), Cancer Bats (CAN), Infectious Groove (USA), Fishbone (USA), Eths (FR), AqME (FR), Born From Pain (NL), Grimskunk (CAN), Rentokill (AUT), This Is A Standoff (CAN), Vera Cruz (FR)… En Février 2009, le groupe tourne son premier clip avec l’équipe d’ID-FX Productions pour le titre « Shine A Life » diffusé via le réseau TV Lagardère (MCM France, MCM Belgique et Virgin17). Le groupe enregistre son premier album « Dear Diary » durant l’été 2009 qui compte notamment un featuring du charismatique James Isaiah Munoz, chanteur du groupe texan The Bled (Rise Records). L’album sortira dans un premier temps sous le label Red-Light Records. En 2010, ils tournent en Suède, Norvège, Danmark, Pays-Bas et en Allemagne pour assurer la promotion de leur album et tournerons en UK en 2011...

The Amsterdam Red Light District was born during October 2005 when some friends decided to get together in the attempts of creating some Rock n’roll in a new project: Maxxx at the guitar, Greg played bass, Julien behind the drums and Franz was on the mic. After a few compositions, the sound of the band quickly developed: A mix of hardcore, punk and metal with influences like Refused, The Ghost Of a Thousand, Death By Stereo, Raised Fist or The Bled. November, 2008, it is a new chapter for TARLD with Elio's incorporation to replace Ivan. He integrates easily with the band and new influences start coming into the mix. Elio brings a more hardcore style of singing having major influences in the likes of Snapcase or Raised Fist. Sweat, screaming, sharing moments with a crowd…Playing shows is what they love doing the most and they have had the privilege of playing all around France and Europe with bands like Sick Of It All (USA), 36 Crazy Fists (USA), Unearth (USA), Cancer Bats (CAN), Infectious Groove (USA), Fishbone (USA), Eths (FR), AqME (FR), Born From Pain (NL), Grimskunk (CAN), Rentokill (AUT), This Is A Standoff (CAN), Vera Cruz (FR)… In February 2009, the band recorded their first music video with ID-Fx Productions for the song "Shine A Life" and the video is now broadcasted by Lagardère TV, which is the main music French channel network (MCM France, MCM Belgium and Virgin17). The Amsterdam Red Light District recorded their first album "Dear Diary" during the summer of 2009 which includes a featuring of the charismatic James Isaiah Munoz, singer of the Texan band The Bled (Rise Records). In 2010, they toured in Sweden, Norway, Netherland, Denmark and Germany to promote their album "Dear Diary". They will rock the UK in 2011, be here...



El grupo se formó en octubre de 2005 con la guitara de Max, el bajo de Gregory, la batería de Julien y en la primera voz Franz. Después de algunas composiciones, el sonido se definió rápidamente: Una mezcla de Hardcore, Punk y Metal con influencias de Refused, Ghost Of A Thousand, Raised Fist o The Bled. Esa es la escencia del grupo liones “The Amsterdam Red Light District”. Un nuevo momento crucial para TARLD fué en Noviembre del 2008 con la integración de Elío para remplazar a Iván, el cual se integra fácilmente al grupo y nuevas influencias vienen a sumarse. Él tiene una voz más “Hardcore”, adecuada completamente al estilo de origen del grupo. Ésta parecida al estilo de Snapcase o Raised Fist. Consciente de la importancia de los conciertos para la promoción de los artistas, la especialidad en la formación del grupo son los conciertos en vivo. Ya que tuvieron el privilegio de surcar algunas ciudades francesas y europeas en compañía de grupos como Sick Of It All (USA), 36 Crazy Fists (USA), Unearth (USA), Cancer Bats (CAN), Infectious Groove (USA), Fishbone (USA), Eths (FR), AqME (FR), Born From Pain (NL), Grimskunk (CAN), Rentokill (AUT), This Is A Standoff (CAN), Vera Cruz (FR)… En febrero de 2009, el grupo realizó su primer videoclip con ID-FX Productions con el titulo « Shine A Life ». El cual se transmitió en TV Lagardère (MCM Francia, MCM Bélgica y Virgin17). En el verano 2009, el grupo grava su primero disco completo « Dear Diary » que cuenta con la participación del carismático James Isaiah Munoz, cantante del grupo de Texas The Bled (Rise Records). Siendo la primera ocasión que un grupo francés logra ésto!!!



The Amsterdam Red-Light District wurde im Oktober 2005 gegründet, als ein paar Freunde beschlossen, ein neues Rock-'n-Roll-Projekt aus dem Boden zu stampfen: Maxxx an der Gitarre, Greg sollte Bass spielen, Julien das Schlagzeug rocken und Franz seine Stimme dazu erklingen lassen. Nach den ersten paar selbst frabrizierten Songs kristallisierte sich der Sound der Band schon klar heraus: eine Mischung aus Hardcore, Punk und Metal mit Einflüssen von Refused, The Ghost Of A Thousand, Raised Fist und The Bled. November 2008: Mit Elio (ab dann statt Ivan am Mikrofon) kam frischer Wind bei TARLD rein. Elio hatte sich schnell in die Band gefunden und neue Einflüsse eingebracht. Seine Stimme, die mehr dem Hardcore zuzuordnen ist, war im Endeffekt das, was den Gründungsmitgliedern von Anfang vorschwebte: Vocals, die an Snapcase oder Raised Fist erinnern lassen. Schwitzen, Schreien, mit einer Horde Leute eine gute Zeit haben... Shows zu spielen ist TARLDs größter Antrieb und die Jungs hatten das Privileg, in Frankreich und Europa mit Bands wie Sick Of It All (USA), 36 Crazy Fists (USA), Unearth (USA), Cancer Bats (CAN), Infectious Groove (USA), Fishbone (USA), Eths (FR), AqME (FR), Born From Pain (NL), Grimskunk (CAN), Rentokill (AUT), This Is A Standoff (CAN), Vera Cruz (FR) zusammenzuspielen! Im Februar 2009 wurde das erste Musikvideo zum Song "Shine A Life" mit ID-Fx Productions aufgenommen. Das Video wird auf Lagardère TV, dem größten französischen Musiknetzwerk (MCM Frankreich, MCM Belgien und Virgin17), ausgestrahlt. Im Mai 2009 begrüßten die Jungs von TARLD ihren Nordamerikamanager Jon Tsujio (Guts N Glory Productions), der die Band auf der anderen Seite des Atlantiks promoten und das Booking für die Staaten und Kanada übernehmen soll. The Amsterdam Red-Light District haben im Sommer 2009 ihr erstes Album "Dear Diary" aufgenommen, wobei der charismatische James Isaiah Munoz, Sänger von The Bled (Rise Records), die Jungs in einem Song tatkräftig unterstützt. In 2010, TARLD gespielt in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Netherland für den "Dear DIary Tour"...

Voilà le crédo du combo lyonnais The Amsterdam Red Light District, formé par Max (guitare), Julien (batterie), Greg (Basse) et Franz (chant) Apres leur premier concert en juin 2006 avec Flying Donuts et Elevate Newton's Theory et de bonnes critiques, le groupe change de line up avec le remplacement de Franz au micro par Ivan, ancien chanteur du groupe Wanapeek. Dés lors, après seulement 2 mois le groupe nouvellement formé rentre en studio et sort un premier 3 titres début 2007 : « Narrow Corridor ». En Juillet 2007, ils iront au NSR Studio (Uncommonmenfrommars, Dyonisos, Elevate, Minimum Serious…) pour enregistrer 3 nouveaux titres : « Let's celebrate the end » voit alors le jour. Un savoureux mélange de Comeback Kid, The Bled, Raised Fist et d'At The Drive In... Une démo qui fera une apparition dans la presse spécialisée (ROCK ONE Janvier 08 et PUNK RAWK Février 08). After their first show in June 2006 well established French bands Flying Donuts and Elevate Newton's Theory and some good critics, the band changes its line up with Franz's replacement as lead singer by Ivan, who was the previous singer of Wanapeek. After only 2 months the newly formed band recorded their first EP: "Narrow Corridor", with 3 tracks. In July, 2007, they will go to NSR Studio (Uncommonmenfrommars, Dyonisos, Elevate, Minimum Serious) to record 3 new songs for a new EP called "Let's celebrate the end". A tasty mixture of Comeback Kid, The Bled, Raised Fist and At The Drive In... A demo which will make an appearance in the press (ROCK ONE January 08 and PUNK RAWK February 08). In May, 2009, TARLD welcomes their North American manager JonJon Gagnon (Guts N Glory Productions) who aids in their goal to develop the band outside of Europe and will be booking the band on their first North American tour which will be scheduled in 2010. Después de su primer concierto en 2006 con Flying Donuts y Elevate Newton's Theory y de buenas críticas, el grupo cambia de equipo con la sustitución de Franz al micrófono por Iván, antiguo cantante del grupo Wanapeek. Tan sólo dos meses después de haberse formado nuevamente el grupo, entra al estudio y saca su primer disco de 3 títulos « Narrow Corridor » a principio de 2007. En julio de este mismo año, fueron al estudio NSR (Uncommonmenfrommars, Dyonisos, Elevate, Minimum Serious…) para grabar 3 nuevos temas los cuales dan origen al nuevo disco « Let's celebrate the end » , una sabrosa mezcla de Comeback Kid, The Bled, Raised Fist y d'At The Drive In… Un demo de este se anexo a las revistas especializadas (ROCK ONE Enero 08 y PUNK RAWK Febrero 08). Nach der ersten Show im Juni 2006, als TARLD mit einigen bekannteren französischen Bands wie Flying Donuts und Elevate Newton's Theory zusammenspielten und gute Kritiken bekamen, veränderte die Band ihr Line-up, wobei Franz am Mikro von Ivan, dem ehemaligen Sänger von Wanapeck, abgelöst wurde. Nach nur zwei Monaten wurde dann in der neuen Besetzung die erste EP aufgenommen: "Narrow Corridor" (drei Songs). Im Juli 2007 gingen die Jungs ins NSR Studio (Uncommonmenfrommars, Dyonisos, Elevate, Minimum Serious), um eine neue 3-Song-EP namens "Let's Celebrate the End" aufzunehmen.
