I am passionate about film/theatre/improv comedy. Danger and adventure were until recently not something I was big on, but I realize now I haven't made the most of this gift of youth. Peril is something I'd like to seek, rather than avoid. That said, it's difficult for me to think of something to do in that vein. In my deep self, I'd like to be a superhero, stalking the night and fighting crime. I want to be the man in black duelling on the Cliffs of Insanity. I want to be the returning soldier, full of sad stories.

i thank you my friend for eternally dubbing me "self". the reason that Andy has become my name is that while on mission trip, a father at our church was talking to me about his brother named Andrew as well, and how he hated to be called Andy. I commented on how i agreed with the struggle his brother faced, and how i also agree with his point of view on Andy. The man then replied, "Well... you just messed up," and has called me Andy ever since. To get back at his dry wit, i told everyone else on the trip and at church to call me Andy, without him knowing, as to show that indeed i am not bothered by Andy. I am Self, but for a short period i must remain Andy.
