Telefunka es un trío electro-orgánico que hace
uso de diferentes estilos e influencias como el electro, rock, techno, funk,
y se ha convertido en una de las propuestas independientes más sólidas
e importantes de México y Latinoamérica. A seis años
de haberse conformado, el grupo ha editado bajo su propio sello Discos Calodofo,
dos LPs, dos EPs de remezclas, un DVD en vivo junto con una orquesta sinfónica
de 27 músicos y 7 videoclips; fueron nominados por MTV como mejor
artista independiente de Latinoamérica en el 2004; han participado
en festivales como Vive Latino México, Creamfields México,
Brahma Beats (Argentina), Fussion Festival (España), Rock al Parque
(Colombia); han sido teloneros en conciertos de Daft Punk y Massive Attack
en México; han visitado España, Panamá, Estados Unidos,
Argentina, Colombia y Ecuador. Actualmente el grupo se mantiene activo preparando
su siguiente material, colaborando con algunos músicos y djs de la
escena latinoamericana, y tocando en vivo.
