I begged my mom when I was four to teach me how to play the piano. She made me wait until I was five. When other kids were playing baseball, I was playing my keys. I studied piano, trumpet, and classical composition at The Peabody, Walden, and Oberlin. I also messed around with alot of interesting instruments and styles from around the world...Gamelan in Bali, Kora of West Africa etc. I began expirimenting with solo piano works, jazz, and blues. Played in many a band around Baltimore, and began songwriting in earnest. Joined the Baltimore Songwriter's Association to hone my craft some more.
I wake up with coffee and songwriting. It oozes out of me. Current projects include the upcoming release of my blues/soul CD titled Bar Tunes

Dear Tepi, Your CD release concert at Bar Hon was really great.
It was a special evening for us as your music was so well presented, and the surprise of all the guest musicians added fascinating extra dimensions.
Mainly these beautiful songs, some of which i have watched grow from little seeds were so beautiful and personal in their writing and singing that it was touching indeed.
!You should be very proud of your new CD! Sincerely ~woody
