Music is my Life. I knew ever since I was little that music was and always would be my first love. I remember when I was 16 I went to see Less Than Jake at Watertstreet MusicHall. I remember saying to myself, WOW! I wonder if I'll ever get to play here, Since then I've played at Waterstreet more times than I can count, and had some of the best moments of my life there, opening up for ASIA, Richard Julian, and playing The Blues Traveler after party.
I've been going back and forth to the U.K. for four years recording and writing with some of the most respected songwriters, and producers in the music industry. Two songs that I co/wrote were released in the U.K. and in Australia. In 2006 I signed a publishing contract with famous songwriter, Don Black (most famous for "Born Free", "Diamonds are Forever", "To Sir with Love").
I've realized alot in the past year. Alot of the times I've been confused as to what to do, or how to sound. I've been put in situations over and over where people have wanted me to change who I am, and what I sound like. I realized its not about finding a record deal, or the wrong manager. Its about ME. Me, my Guitar, my songs, and the passion to live, love, create and breath music. At the end of the day, thats all I need.
In the next year, what you see is what you will get. Im looking forward to my second cd release in August 2008, which honestly feels like my first. This cd is really going to show you who I am as a musician, and what I'm all about. Im really going to devote all my energy to getting this cd out there, and slowy start to tour around the U.S. Its going to be alot of work but at the same time, I think its going to be the best time of my life.
I just want to say a quick THANK YOU to Rochester, N.Y. and to my fans who have been a huge part in helping me live my dream. Thanks to WaterStreet MusicHall, Starry nights cafe, 90.5 WBER, 98.9 The Buzz, 96.5 WCMF, News Channel 13, Frank Deblase - Sunday night Shakedown, The City Paper, The Insider, The Democrat and Chronicle, Freetime, and so many many others.
