General
He's got my heart. I support our Troops AND Their Mission

The lyrics below are to a song which was written and performed by Tony Diana Tony has graciously donated any proceeds made from this song to They Have Names, which is a site dedicated to preserving the memories of the Fallen Heroes of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. The owner of They Have Names site will be presenting to each family he interviews a coin engraved with their loved ones name, thanking them for their sacrifice. Please help out this great cause by clicking the links to these websites and purchasing a copy of Flag Up High.
What can I say? I'm a sucker for helping other people. I have always had the attitude that there are many people out there, much more disadvantaged than I am and it's my duty to do what I can to help others. So yeah, at times I tend to be a caretaker and have a tendency to give a lot of myself to others, while not expecting anything in return. I participate in things such as Troop Support, outdoor activities, motorcycles, spending time with good friends and my family, numerous non-profit organizations that help our Brave American Military Men and Women...
There are many ways you can help support our Troops. Take some time and visit America Supports You and find out what you can do to help. There are so many ways you can make a difference. Write a letter, send a care package, visit our wounded Heroes, help out the families of the fallen, attend a Troop Support Rally and last but not least, when you see a member of the military, go up to them and tell them THANKS for their sacrifices. The list goes on and on. America Supports You has compiled a list of groups that they have carefully scrutinized to ensure they have the best interest of our Troops in mind. Visit there and see what's available. STEP UP TO THE PLATE and let your actions speak louder than your words! DO SOMETHING to show our troops you care!
Music
I listen to a wide range of music. About the only thing that I don't listen to is Rap. My all time favorite has to be Classic Rock, but I do like some of the new rock artists as well. I listen to some Country (shhhhh don't tell my mom! I swore I'd never do that!)
Check out these fantastic artists for their awesome Troop Support Songs. I can't give these artists kudo's enough. Even though they're not well know artists, they've all went out of their way to show how much they appreciate and support our Military Men and Women.
Hank Brake ,
Tony Diana ,
Sally Mudd
and The Kory Brunson Band.
Check out my video section, to see a couple video's that I put together in support of the troops, to Hank Brake's "Thank You" and The Kory Brunson Band's "We Know You're Out There".
Hank had all the soldiers in tears that day!!
Movies
Action, Drama, True Crime, Comedy, Documentary, Historical.... Pretty much anything that catches and holds my interest.
Television
I try to keep abreast of the news and what's happening around the World. Especially when it pertains to our Military men and women. Otherwise, I rarely watch television unless I'm watching Kansas City Chiefs football. GO CHIEFS!!!!
You Are 89% American
You're as American as red meat and shooting ranges.
Tough and independent, you think big.
You love everything about the US, wrong or right.
And anyone who criticizes your home better not do it in front of you!
I read a lot of different things. The criminal mind has always interested me and I've always wondered just what exactly made those kind of people tick, so I read a lot of true crime books, law enforcement and counseling related books, psychological thrillers, true stories about or by our Brave American Military men and women, some fiction and pretty much whatever else catches my interest.

Heroes
My parents (Rest In Peace Mom, I Miss You!), Marty and my son Craig, both pictured below.
All of the brave men and women serving in America's Armed Forces. They're out there, day in and day out, risking their lives, so we don't have to. They have and deserve my utmost respect and admiration. Each and every one of them I have met act like the sacrifices they make every day is no big deal, that it's just a job. But they're risking their lives, to make sure that we all continue to enjoy the rights and freedoms, we've grown accustomed to here in the USA.

There's really not a whole lot to say about myself. 2006 found me leaving my home in Maryland, follwing a failed marriage and moving half way across the country from Maryland to Central Texas. This was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. Shortly after arriving here, I met someone who's become the focal point of my life. I'm in a serious relationship, with this wonderful man, Marty, who's the center of my life. We met shortly after I moved to Central Texas and have been together ever since. I couldn't be happier. I've got a great job at Fort Hood, doing what I like to do best, helping the brave men and women in our Country's Armed Forces.
A bit about myself....
I spend a very large portion of my time supporting our brave American Heroes both at home and abroad. I've been supporting our deployed troops since the Spring of 2000, when my youngest son Craig was deployed with his then National Guard unit from Kansas to Kosovo and have been taking part ever since. I've met many fantastic people by supporting our troops, many who've become lifelong friends and hopefully will meet many more.
I'm the mother of 2 grown sons. Craig is 25 and now lives in Corpus Christi, Tx. Craig is a member of the Texas National Guard and I'm really proud of what he's accomplished since he joined the Guards at 17. Corey is my oldest son and soon to be 28. He lives and works in Central Kansas, which is where I'm originally from. I'm pretty damn proud of both of my sons and what they've managed to accomplish in their lives. I also have 3 wonderful step-children, Sean 18, who's recently enlisted in the Army, Elizabeth 14 and Jacob 10, who live in Indiana with their mother. I pretty damn proud of each of my kids and know that they'll each accomplish great things in their lives.

Who I'd like to meet: All the American Heroes that I've had the privilege of supporting through my troop support activities over the years.
