Thalma de Freitas (Rio de Janeiro, 14 de maio de 1974) é uma atriz e cantora brasileira.
Atuou em diversas novelas entre elas Laços de Família, O Clone, Kubanacan, Começar de Novo, Bang Bang e dois filmes: "O Xangô de Baker Street" de Miguel Faria Jr., interpretanto Ana Candelária, a namorada brasileira de Sherlock Holmes e "Filhas do Vento" de Joel Zito Araújo, interpretando a primeira fase de Jú. Por esse trabalho Thalma dividiu com Tais Araújo o kikito de melhor atriz coadjuvante no festival de cinema de Gramado.
A cantora é filha do pianista, arranjador, compositor e maestro Laércio de Freitas. Aos dezessete anos de idade, começou a se apresentar como cantora em bares de São Paulo. Posteriormente, apresentou-se em bares cariocas, como o Copérnico, interpretando composições de autores da nova geração da MPB, como Paulinho Moska, Seu Jorge e Adriana Calcanhoto. Freitas também atuou no projeto Humaitá pra Peixe.
Em 2004, lançou seu único CD solo, com canções clássicas como "Doce de coco" (de Jacob do Bandolim e Hermínio Bello de Carvalho), "Beija-me" (Roberto Martins e Mário Rossi) e contemporâneas, como "Tranqüilo" (de Kassin) e "Cordeiro de Nanã" (Mateus e Dadinho), que foi escolhida para compor a trilha sonora da telenovela "Senhora do Destino". Seu pai, Laércio de Freitas, participou do álbum ao piano junto a outros luminares do samba carioca, como Wilson das Neves (bateria) e Bebeto (contrabaixo).

Very nice! The daughter of '70s MPB/jazz fusion keyboardist Laercio De Freitas, Ms. De Freitas has a gorgeous voice, with crystal-clear tone and very precise diction; she glides atop these light, funky tunes, an easygoing, jazzy mix crafted by her father (who plays throughout) and modern indie-popster Kassin (perhaps best known for his work with Moreno Veloso). Kassin contributes the centerpiece of this 6-song EP, a light, bouncy, irresistible rumba-flavored tune called "Tranquilo." Her father's touch is heavy on the rest of the record, which is as much a showcase for his keyboards as it is for her voice, and drifts into some jazzy flights that recall Gal Costa's funkier albums of the mid-1970s. Veteran bassist Bebeto and drummer Wilson Das Neves round out this compact ensemble -- this disc is short, but it's sweet -- one of the best new Brazilian records I've come across in quite some time!"

Orquestra Imperial is an Intergenerational 18 - piece collective of some of Rio's best musicians, including Moreno Veloso, Domenico +2, Wilson das Neves and more. The musically diverse members of Orquestra Imperial began singing old Latino love songs on Monday evenings in 2002, Their shared dream was to be part of a traditional Brazilian orchestra that had that ‘something extra’. A few years later and Orquestra Imperial has not only succeeded in creating a unique ensemble and sound, but it has also become a music sensation, drawing thousands to their performances in Rio de Janeiro. Combining different styles from the Carioca scene, the legendary, traditional and contemporary meet in this 18-piece collective to recreate the essence of Brazilian music. Instrumentalist, singer and composer, Wilson das Neves, a master of samba and soul sings alongside Nina Becker and Thalma de Freitas,equally known for her voice and award-winning movie roles. Add to that, rock musician Rodrigo Amarante, percussionist Domenico Lancelotti, electronica wiz Alexandre Kassin and Moreno Veloso who sings boleros and salsas, and you’ve begun a tour of Brazilian music. A host of fine musicians join them on guitar, trumpet, trombone, drums, flute and keyboards.
