A N U B I S were formed in May 2007 by "Pete Williamson" (Bassist / Songwriter), Pete's daughter "Sarah Co'burn" (Singer / Songwriter) and "Simon Lees" (Lead Guitarist / Songwriter) in order to write and record their own brand of music in the band's Anubian Group of Studio's.
Since it's conception the band has created interest across the globe and enlisted a second guitarist, Andy Hart,Andy left the band after the recording of the EP in Nov 2008 at this point Drummer Kev Bartlett joined the band.
The line up was now complete.
The band will be taking it's show on the road again in early 2010 mainly at festivals across Europe and hopefully beyond.
Each person involved has very different musical influences and styles. The Band Members are:
SARAH CO'BURN - ! ISIS ! (Singer / Songwriter) who's influences are very varied, ranges from Acid Jazz, Ambient Jazz, 80's Rock and Electronic Music, modern day Rock such RHCP and SOAD, also some classic rock such as Led Zepplin. Sarah also likes to listen to new good acoustic guitar song writers.

SIMON LEES - ! THE PHARAOH ! (former Budgie, Al Atkins, Ozzmosis, Tantrum Guitarist) who's influences are Jake E Lee, Steve Vai, Dream Theater, Joe Satriani, Dave Gilmour, George Lynch, Ozzy, Zakk Wylde, Marillion, IQ, Sky, Mike Oldfield, Scorpions, Ultravox, Queensryche, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Seal, John Sykes, Skin, Extreme, Iron Maiden, Metallica, and Budgie

PETE WILLIAMSON - ! THE JACKAL ! (former Noggin & Space Rock Session Bassist) who's influences are Hawkwind, Gong, Noggin, Tim Blake and other Space Rock / Ambient Bands, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Motorhead, BAP, Rammstein, Scorpions and not least of all Pink Floyd.
