(Critics Pick) "In this 1940s-era song-and-dance show, radio ingenues Candy, Cora, and Seedy woo the audience with big voices and naive hearts." - Time Out NY
"There is definitely something magical about the girls and the people they’ve surrounded themselves with that seems to always make the show a success."
- The Apiary
"I might have laughed more at the trio’s Friday night show, but only if my jaw hadn’t kept dropping at the brilliance of the concept and writing and the happy audacity of its execution."
- The Oregonian
"Think The Andrews Sisters crossed with The 3 Stooges but with the subversive wit of an Amy Sedaris."
- The Portland Mercury
"Fireside chats ain’t got nothing on the Apple Sisters... a tongue-in-cheek mix of patriotic naiveté and gut-churning sight gags."
- Flavorpill
"There’s something gut-funny and satisfying about watching gorgeous, leggy ladies inexplicably make themselves unattractive, a tenet Amy Sedaris proves again and again."
- Time Out NY
"One a day keeps the doctor away."
- Daily Candy
"The show soars!"
- Time Out NY
"It’s a tight thirty-minutes of close harmony, ingenious choreography and broad comedy" – The Villager

As American as the pie, los hermanas Apple are 3 girls whose slightly askew worldview makes for one of the freshest comedy voices in the city. Imagine a kids show run by recovering alcoholics repressing their dark edge. -neighborbeeblog.com

“Go see them”
-Whirled Weakly Noose Podcast
“Favorites included the Apple Sisters, an all-singing, all tap-dancing trio
who create a sweet nostalgia for the great music of the 1940s while chirpily sneaking in a few double entendres.”

ANDY COSTELLO (Asst. Director) spends his days as an editor at an academic publishing company in New York City, which --obviously-- has prepared him well for his position as assistant director for the Apple Sisters. He has worked in television and theater as a writing consultant and has contributed to effects for some of the biggest names in magic in England and America as a magic consultant. He is the Apple Sisters 1 fan and cleverly finagled the Assistant Director position in order to receive free admission to their performances.
JEFF SOLOMON (Woody Stem/Music Director) Jeff co-founded Elephant Larry in 2002 with four fellow alumni and moved to New York. Jeff’s also a singer-songwriter, and he just completed his first solo record, "Around the Square," which can be heard at www.jeffsolomonmusic.com. And when Jeff was five, a pelican tried to eat his head. True story

4Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5"And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. 6But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
