Through complete determination, 2008 saw the joining
of 5 people all with the same passion and drive to
create a melodic yet heavy sound. The end of a few
different bands saw the beginning of one with
Aaron, Popey and Luke still left after member
changes within The Autonomy Within camp. They
decided to look for new, open minded members to
start T.A.W. again afresh and not give up. Even after
carving out their own sound that already gained many
fans throughout 2 years of gigging, they dared
to change and tweak their songs and up their
game to create the sound they had always envisioned
The Autonomy Within having. After finding the
drummer they always wanted in the shape of
Jake Thomas the hunt for a full line-up began.
Enter Joe. After auditioning an array of guitarists the
last step was complete, the final line up was formed
and 2008 started like a bullet. They headed straight
back into the studio with Ginge and Jeff at Nottin Pill
studios to record the “There Will be Blood” demo and
went right back to gigging after only a three month
hiatus. With a greater hunger and more drive than ever
before, they went back onto the South wales scene as
if they had never left. To a band that live for playing
live a break was hell but with new recordings, a solid Line up
