That’s binary code for “The Binary Code fucking rules.” No, really, it is. Because they do. Have you heard their latest track “The Story” yet? Check it below — for now, at least, it’s a MetalSucks exclusive, until you pass it on to all of your friends because you love it so much. Think a heavier, tech-deathier BTBAM with the same melodic / atmospheric sensibilities of that band but a bit less wankery for compliance with the ADD generation...
"

- the Aquarian Weekly -
"I had never been so taken by anything; a band not making music for popularity or fame...the Binary Code of North Jersey are definitely impressive. Self-proclaimed geeks, this outfit of insanely talented musicians may come off as timid but with a quiet confidence luring behind their coke bottle frames...In songs like "Ghost Planet" from their 2008 demo, one may get the impression that they are a prototypical hardcore band just out to make the kids dance but in the same heart beat, songs like "the Void" make you swallow your words and then some; warm, worldly, smooth, and rough when needed, I'd think it naive to lumb TBC into any genre."

- Metal Sucks . net (4/15/08) -
"What impresses me most about The Binary Code, aside from their absolutely stellar musicianship, is the band’s ability to write punishingly brutal and highly technical songs that are easy enough to “get” on first listen, having never heard them before last night. Good songwriting in the burgeoning technical death metal genre? Imagine that; here it is."

- Late Night Wallflower -
"The Binary Code are the answer to New Jersey’s endless amount of shitty Bruce Springsteen and Bouncing Souls clones. They are a unique combination of hardcore and metal heaviness, with an almost jazz or concert-violinist technicality. Both brutal as fuck and incredibly concise and intricate at the same time, they are on a mission to put all those dayglo-wearing “metalheads” to shame."

About the BINARY code / / / Need a BASSIST!

"Suspension of Disbelief" coming in 2009

the Binary Code - "Suspension of Disbelief" (NEW SONG live @ Cabaloosa 2.07.09)

(revised 2/11/09)

The Binary Code has been an undiminished musical syndicate since April of 2004. Blossoming into a matured group with a high prescience aiming to bring music to the current underground scene that brings about a breath of fresh air to many listeners. It has been a goal for the Binary Code to play music solely for the purpose of being able to convey each individual member's passion and expression.

We have had the pleasure of playing with well-over 75 National Acts and International Acts over the course of our existence. We've also had the pleasure of recording with amazingly talented engineers such as Erik Rutan (Cannibal Corpse, Into the Moat, Through the Eyes of the Dead, Soilent Green, Hate Eternal), Jesse Cannon (A Static Lullaby, Dillinger Escape Plan, Head Automatica, Say Anything), Steve Austin (Converge, Lamb of God, Today is the Day, Circle of Dead Children), Jayson Dezuzio (Number Twelve Looks Like You, Sawtooth Grin, Coheed and Cambria), and our favorite studio friend ever, Paulie @ Uncle Paulie Productions.

The Binary Code filmed a music video for an older tune back in February of 2005 with remarkable talent Adam Albrandt (God Forbid, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Today is the Day, Circle of Dead Children). The video premiered at the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival in spring of 2005.

A few goals the Binary Code have in store for 2008 and 2009 include touring extensively wherever permitted, and record our first full-length album.

We have guitar tabs posted in text-format now: click here

So it appears it's a good idea to show people who you've "shared the stage with" and where you've played:

These are a few:

States: NJ, NY, PA, CT, NH, MA, RI, MD, IN, FL, GA
