The Blank Tapes was dreamed up by Matt Adams a long long time ago...
The Blank Tapes is really just me with my friends helping me out for shows. i write, record and play all the instruments on my albums (99% of the time). i have a band in the bay area and sometimes another in orange county that both play as the blank tapes. I just released a 20 song compilation of me & my friends' music called "UNIVERSAL WESTERN ATTRACTIONS". My cover album "friends & favorites" is finally available too. i silkscreened and sewed up only 300 copies so get 'em before they run out.
