The Bloodreds "Mr. Mess" Debut 4 song EP is available at Curmudgeon Records and the Princeton Record Exchange and of course at any of our live shows. Get on it!
".... here are a couple "for fans of" suggestions: the anthemic 77/street punk/oi sensibility of the best of Cock Sparrer or Blitz, with some great guitar leads and melodicism that borders on gritty pop-punk a la early Screeching Weasel or Crimpshrine, and lyrics & vocals with a booze soaked, sentimentalist bent that’ll recall the Pogues."
The Bloodreds started in the summer of 2004 in a little basement in New Brunswick, NJ. Since then we have stared disaster in its face, broke over 300 guitar strings, went through 5 rehearsal spaces, drank many a beer, changed lineups, recorded a demo, put out a record, turned people on, turned people off, and so forth. Our mission is simple... we hate our day jobs, and only know how to do one thing we think is right and thats play our songs. When we can’t do that anymore we will disappear. Until then - WATCH OUT!
by the way i think that upright citizens song is called what are we gonna do now... the lp is called make the future mine and yours. awesome song, great cover on the fmu set. good shit
Great time on Saturday. Most expensive show I've ever been to! I got a 65 dollar parking ticket! Hope to see you again soon. Pics should be up within a week.
