About me: The Boneyard is a school for Mixed Martial Arts training. We teach a combination of Brazilian Jiu jitsu, Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling & Judo
We are located at 5 Main Street on the 2nd & 3rd floors in Taunton Ma.
Our training facility is approximately 4500 square feet.
Our 2nd floor houses our weight room which consists of Hammer Strength equipment. (Squat Rack, back machine, incline bench, decline bench, shoulder press, straight bench, leg press, dum bells and various other free weights).
Our 3rd floor is where we train our fighters. We have a half ring, half cage which enables us to train for each situation as well as 1300 sq. feet of mat. we also have a conditioning room which is home to our conditioning class which consisits of a cable crossover, chin-up rack, heavy bags, treadmills, bikes, medicine balls, sprawl harness & other elastic resistance equipment, exercise balls, jump ropes, Thai pads, focus mits, speed bag, and various other free weights.
We also have mens & womens locker rooms with showers.
We are open during the week at 4:30pm. Weekends we are open by 11am.
Beginning in May we will have classes at Noon during the week as well as kids classes.
A common misconception is that entering the Boneyard will result in a beating. This is very untrue. When you come in you will find a very friendly, relaxed atmosphere where men and women are learning real fighting skills and getting into shape at the same time. It's fun and useful stuff. You will gain confidence and get a full body workout if that is your goal.
If your goal extends to entering competition at any level then you have found the right place. We have members that compete in local to nation wide grappling tournaments.
Our fight team is also very successful. Also having fought locally and nation wide, entering various MMA competitions such as Rage in the Cage, Mass Destruction, Reality Fighting, MFC, UFC and many others.
All of our scheduled classes are beginner to intermediate techniques. So no matter what your skill level you will be able to participate
