The Brown Flamingos were a short-lived but much beloved shooting-star on the Minneapolis music scene. This sometimes sincere, sometimes wacky duo was made up of one part Bob Parins and one part Nick Pichet and became somewhat of a cult phenomenon between the years of 2001 and 2003.
Keep your eyes peeled for digital releases of the EP and the LP "Growin' on up"
What the...? The Brown Flamingos are all over the place with country (tongue in cheek?) tumbling over programmed this-and-that. Throughout it all are inspired, humorous songs.
