Roots-Groove-Reggae-Band

It s not likely for Reggae, especially Roots-Groove-Reggae to come out of a small country in the middle of Europe named Austria. It s more a place for famous ski-teams and classical composers. Though, with their songs The Buccaneers made it right into the hearts of countless reggae-lovers all over the planet. Talking about songs full of melody, meaning and vibes. It s not that standard riddim-thing, Joe Morgan, The Captain of The Buccaneers says, but merely real songs.

Songs you can listen to, hum to, dance to or just chill to... songs you won..t forget.

Sine 1993, The Buccaneers have been performing on most of the typical reggae-stages, e.g. festivals in Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Italy, Slovenija, Switzerland, Spain,... - even in the caribbean island of St. Eustatius, called Statia. The Buccaneers were invited by the local government to perform on Statia Day 04, for Statia Day 06 and again for Statia Day 09 which is always November, 16th, by the way. Further, a tour through Brazil and another one through Asia is planned for the near future.

Besides, the band is actually working on the next studio album with a lot of new songs and cooperations with other artists like for example The Holmes Brothers (USA).

So get ready for the real Roots-Groove-Reggae-Riddim-Attack.

Everybody chill, shake, move, sing, dance and groove to the music of the Buccaneers - songs like Fisherman, Jah-Jah is Great, Feeling Irie, Infibulation, Wood of Weed... or their famous roots-interpretations of songs like Roxanne, Brick in the Wall, Take a letter Maria, I shall be released...come and be part of the energy!
