"Surely The Cavedogs' lack of commercial success is one of pop music's greatest mysteries. In spite of two excellent major-label albums and a couple of great CD singles, they never reached the kind of following they deserved.
But The Cavedogs are more than just a footnote in the history of pop music. While the band is no more, it served as a springboard for three musical careers that continue to leave their marks. Brian Stevens (bass/vocals), Todd Spahr (guitar/vocals), and Mark Rivers (drums/vocals) are all still active in the music business, and in pursuing their individual goals, are continuing to create their own unique brands of power pop."

Come by and listen to the new song "Losing Streak" from my record "One and Only Maybe", produced by Michael Eisenstein, available for purchase from my page. Peace. Seth.
O Cavedogs, howfore art you? Come on by and give a listen to the title track from my new record, One and Only Maybe, produced by noneother than thee Michael Eisenstein.
Hey, what's new pussycat? I just wrote a song called Here Kitty Kitty to replace another song called Pussy in a film. Needless to say, I've had cat on the brain now for a few days, and couldn't help but think of you "cats" and your scrumptious recording of that song. This may age you (even though I think you're only maybe 1.9 years older than me or something like that), so ok, maybe it just points out how pop-culture-starved I was as a child, but your rendition of that song was the first I had ever heard. Anyways, thanks for the memories. Love, Seth
Enormous belated thanks for the add. Joyrides is a total classic of the powerpop genre. Whoever put this up has impeccable taste. "Like a machine gun". Cheers!
Yes!!! It's about time someone put up a page for one of the greatest bands ever, and THE greatest to come out of Boston. As far as guitar pop goes, they've hardly been equalled. I was lucky enough to see them several times in '88 and '89. Greetings from London!
