    Die Musikgruppe THE COMMON DOWN kommt vom Punk, Indie- und Collegerock der End-80er und Anfang-90er. Die Texte sind politisch, handeln von Gender-Themen und Scheitern in System und Liebe. Die Musik ist schnörkellos und explosiv, teilweise zermürbend. Mit einem Hang zum Stadion entwickelten TCD den Sound seid 2009 in neuer Besetzung mehr zum Pop melancholischer Weite und bitterer Trauer. Aufbruch und Loslassen. Kompakt und komplex spielen TCD live die gesamte Bandbreite ihrer Erfahrungen. Ihre schwitzende Eleganz wird altersübergreifend rezipiert und endet idealerweise trotz aller Tristesse in Rausch und Extase....
