The Name of the band comes from the cult japanese manga, Lone Wolf and Cub. The music of Daigoro is sharp like a Katana and tasty like a Sushi. Daïgoro is a Swiss based band, formed in 2006.
The 5 members play a brutal Hardcore Grind, with power and melody. Their musical style is varied because they have lots other influences. Ludo sings also in a hardcore band called “Putsch” and Lolo plays Bass in a Deathcore band called “Enigmatik”. Glenn plays acoustic and flamenco guitar in an acoustic band.
The thematics of the songs are directly inspired by the Japanese and Chinese movies swords and Shaolin movies from the 70’s, like Baby Cart, Zatoichi and the One Armed Swordsman as Daigoro’s members are Japanese movies freaks.
Our first EP "Sons of the Shogun's Assassin" is out now! In addition to the 4 tracks, there is a 10 minutes movie about the recording of the EP and a photo galery.
