(when you order the dave: THE ALBUM you will be given one of the many different album covers unless you message me and specifically request your favourite cover and I’ll do my best to make sure that you get the one you want!)
About The Dave:
I started learning guitar at 15. I still use the same guitar. It was second hand when I bought it. I'm 26 in october. I can't tune it, I have to wait till someone who can happens to be around. There is a penny superglued to it that I stuck there when I was 17. There used to be matches as well but they have fallen off. I drew biro lines over it. I don't know why. I can't play bar chords.
I write songs and play them to people.
I learnt guitar so I could do this.
I don't need to play guitar very well in order to write songs.
I think this is why I have never developed into a brilliant guitar player.
We take the paths of least resistance even if we think we are taking the longer way.
I want to play guitar well.
But maybe I don't want to enough.
There is something that I like about the rawness of what I do, though.
We lose so much through learning, sometimes more than we gain. A child at 5 knows more (in some ways) than an adult. A cliche but at the same time the truth.
Or a truth.
If you dig my tunes and lyrics then you might like these other things I write/sing/perform in:
If you happen to be around.. I would like to invite you to our live gig on the 30th June at The Old Queen's Head in Angel, 8pm. I am really looking forward to perform with the hammered dulcimer and tabla live on stage. Would be great to see you there! Much love, Tina x
Join us for another Big City Redneck Presents! Another wonderful eruption, nay, ejaculation of good music at the Buffalo Bar this month!
What can I say? We won’t disappoint.

Mama Shamone http://www. myspace. com/mamashamone “Put Mama Shamone on at any venue and they are likely to take the roof off, this was one of the best live shows I’ve seen in years - certainly one of the best in London. In my opinion these guys are destined for greatness, it felt like I was witnessing history being shaped-something was just so right about what they were doing up there.” Vibe Bar
We Yes You No www. myspace. com/weyesyouno “We Yes You No sing about the end of the world, the end of everything. But in an apocalypse that would sound like this I would buy god’s last EP” – Big City Redneck
