You know who you are. Thank you for the great time and moments we spent together, without you, the music would not mean anything. None of us are perfect, and I have made serious errors in my life. I hope you will accept my apologies for any misunderstandings or heartache, for I hope to dispel any ill will. I only wish for happiness and to stay on the path to peace. Sounds Like
Strangely, we sound a lot like ourselves. Yes, we have reached that moment where we have our own voices, and continue to grow....
~~~~~The Universe and how we experiance it is all very interesting and wonderful. Enjoy every moment you have, it goes by so quickly! Peace, happiness, Namaste, Dave.
The Dave Lynch Group is about our lives, how we have grown up and become the musicians we are. We express ourselves freely through this art and strive to reach our innermost emotions, simple or complex, through our skills, knowlege, technique, wisdom or lack of it, and raw passion.
We really just love to write and play our butts off. I hope you enjoy the music as much as my friends and I have enjoyed creating it. All of the music you hear on this page is original and self produced, except Ana Maria, which is a Wayne Shorter tune, and a tribute to him as he's had such a huge influence on my spirit.
You'll find us in Sacramento at Guitar Workshop at 3248 J Street, Sacramento.
Live well, care for those around you and tell the special people in your life you love them. Someday they will be gone and with them, that opportunity to share.
Cheers, Dave
Be it to fight Diabetes, Asthma, Cancer, Hunger, AIDS, or any other cause that touches your heart. I know of no better feeling than what you feel when you make another person’s day a little better. Hi Dave, Great to have you as a friend!! Best wishes, Mike (Brett Huckfield's promo team). PS Please check out Brett's debut release 'Here Again' (available on iTunes, Amazon, Napster etc.) Hope you enjoy the music!!
I got a gretsch a couple days ago! It's reawakened my love for guitar, but there's a small problem... there's a lot of fret buzz, and I don't know how to go about fixing it. I tried messing around with the truss rod but it didn't do anything. can I have you look at it? and would it cost anything to go about fixing it? (I was already planning on buying new strings anyway)
Hey Dave. Just thought I'd see what you've been writing lately. Really cool. Let me know when you're playing in the DL band again. BTW I plan to get out and check you out with Marty and Tony when I get done on the 2nd saturday.
Hey Dave, Great to hear from you. Thank you so much for the nice comments. I've always enjoyed your music & your playing. You're a badass! I'm looking forward to seeing you play again next time I'm in Sac. I hope you're doing well. See you soon, Jeff
Hi Dave. I'm doing ok, thanks. I'm really glad that the work week is over! My workouts have been on the back burner this last week because I was fighting the flu but I'll start fresh on Monday. Hope you are doing well. Thanks for your message.
i'm going to try to make it to your party. It's funny that you asked me about recordings because there's a piece i want to record that we used to play back in the day and I only remember the first couple of notes...
