Hi...We are The Defekters from Sunny Stevenage...We have a Pound Land in our Town which makes us the height of chic!!!We have been together as a 4 piece band since September 2006, but each of us have been playing in local bands for many years...We have a very relaxed attitude towards creating our music and we are not afraid to experiment with our sound...Each of us plays a key part in creating our songs, so we have a varied mix of all original music, from... Ska, Reggae, Dub, Punk, Rock, Blues, Jazz, funk and the all together Experimental... The Defekters, do not wish to be Pigeon holed and hope to provide a sound that appeals to all people from all walks of life!!!The wonderful Mr Luke Stevens (Bass) also plays for the equally wonderful Hooverhead, so u lucky, lucky people get a double dose of him now!!!
