About me: I'm the hero formerly known as Takedown!
*I'm a 40 yr old comic book geek. I've been a police officer for the last 16 years and currently hold the rank of Police Detective and after 9 yrs on street patrol, and another 5 as an Investigator, 2 spent as an instructor at the Police Academy and now I'm back investigationg Felony cases.
I have been married for almost 9 years and have 3 children, 17 & 24 yr old boys, and a 22 yrs old girl.
I indulge in many differnt video games, play D&D, run, bike and read comics on a weekly basis.
In February of 2007, I auditioned for the Sci-Fi channels; "Who Wants to be a Superhero?"
And on Monday, June 4th, 2007 the cast was announced in the August issue of the SciFi Channel Magazine...
9 other heroes and myself will be helping Stan Lee fight crime and suppress evil!!!!

UPDATE 05/22/2009
Since winning I've traveled the country doing public appearences and more importantly, giving my presentation on "How to be a Hero in your Community". This is for elementary school age children and I've given it to almost 5000 kids in the last 2 yrs. My public appearences as The Defuser are starting to slow down but it's been a hell of a ride and I'd like to thank everyone for all their support.
