The Dents are a Boston punk rock band. Their full-length CD, Time for Biting, was produced by Boston legend Sir David Minehan (The Neighborhoods, Paul Westerberg). Upon its release, Time for Biting was nominated for a Boston Music Award for Debut Album of the Year, landed the band on the front page of the Boston Phoenix and made several local critics' Top Ten lists for that year.
The Dents bring it on back to where it began; nary a song in their set is minus melody and hook and they're wonderfully relentless in that straight-ahead speed surf rhythm thing. After releasing Round One, a split CD/7 EP, with Bostons The Street Dogs last year, the band toured regionally playing to punk and rock audiences alike. They recently returned from a string of successful west coast dates, including a live appearance on Dicky Barrett's "Mighty Mighty Morning Show" on Indie 103 in LA and the BYO Punk Rock Bowling Festival in Las Vegas. Look for the Dents on the PBS show Design Squad this February nationwide!
