An intense new sound, dragged from the underground with a sense of timing as solid as the beat that drives them, The Dirty Rich arrive to rattle the cages of rock and dance music alike. Born out of lead singer Boylan's desire to combine the heavy rhythm section of his native drum & bass with the live, guitar driven sound of punk rock, the band came together with one shared pledge, to ransack every venue they play. Abbo bangs a hybrid kit of real and electronic drums, punching like a heavy weight whilst Jimmy King drops full-fat bass and searing leads with both hands. Upon this foundation Lee Long's guitar animal is allowed to run riot and Boylan delivers words in colourful bursts. Check out our tracks for proof of an undiluted, uniquely British and hugely exciting new act, requiring close attention. This is the generation of the hard sell, we are The Dirty Rich.
In the last few months we've moved to a mansion in Essex where we're working with a top sound engineer recording our debut album, check out the blog.

The Daily Star >
The Ilford Recorder >
"One of the most exciting bands to emerge from the area in years, The Dirty Rich mix crashing samples and drums with crunching guitars and groove-laden keyboards to produce a sound somewhere between the Beastie Boys, Prodigy and Audio Bullys on one side and the likes of The Charlatans and the punkier side of Blur on the other."
The Dagenham Post >
"If you like your electro punk with caked on grime then the spine-shattering sound of The Dirty Rich might just tickle your fancy. Ploughing relentlessly forward with a complete disregard for genre, the filthy foursome have taken synth samples and thrown them into a musical blender with earth shuddering riffs and abrasive vocals. The end result is a wall of sound that has been eclipsing venues throughout London."
We have our next mini-festival at 93 Feet East on Saturday 25th July with an amazing line-up along with our usual Burlesque, performance art and Electro DJ’s. Check out the ticket link below. See you there.
