Well, there's the legend Hunter S. Thompson, there's The Muppets.
Musically, everyone we cover and so much more - everything we hear influences us in some way, even if only to make us want to puke. We are rarely unmoved. So far, we recognize as Gonzo the following: The Misfits, Iggy and the Stooges, Credence Clearwater Revival (no, really), The Drive By Truckers (no, you haven't heard of them, and yes, that is a shame - seek them out), Green Day (you can try and pretend they don't have their moments, but you'd be a shit-breathed liar), Rage Against The Machine (oh YES!), Golden Earring, Bruce Springsteen (yes you read that right, yes he fucking is Gonzo, and if you don't believe me, go away and listen to Born To Run, Badlands, and The River from the Live '75-'85 box set, and Lost In The Flood from the '75 Hammersmith show - no, really, go ahead, I can wait - then come back and apologise), Nirvana, Guns n' Roses, Rollins, Bowie, Jim Croche, NiN, Otis Redding, Oasis (up to and including Morning Glory), Marilyn Manson, The Black Crowes, James Brown, and many many more. Many of these we will cover if we haven't already. And when we do, we will make them our own.

Well, what the hell do you want to know? Who even reads this shit anyway? (Hint: I guess some of the same people who write this shit – so me then).

So I’m Kit, I sing in bands, and yes I did used to sing for a band called Capo Jr., and yes Vinny used to drum for them, and yeah, it was a lot of fun and yes we split up, and this is something very new and very exciting. And as I’ve started on the subject, yes Chris and Rob are great guitarists, superbly enthusiastic people, and dangerously keen collaborators (in the musical sense of the term). And yes our bass player really does have a PhD. And yes he really is German. And since you ask, yes, he is also cool as fuck.

So we play what you’d expect us to play – loud, brilliant, energetic rock and roll (and punk and metal and anything else we damn well please) that hits you in the gut and kicks you in the mind whilst simultaneously giving you head. In a good way. We play songs we wrote and songs other people wrote, and yes that means we do covers, and no, that’s not a bad thing. There’s some awesome, Gonzo shit out there, and some of it you know and some of it you don’t, and we will bring it, whether we wrote it or not, because you need to hear it. We are also pioneering some live mash-up insanity that you haven’t heard anywhere yet, stuff that will melt your brain, and send little shooting darts of pleasure to hidden musical spots you weren’t previously aware of, and make you grin and want to jump up and down and possibly yell and mosh and freak out, and we say DO IT. Because life is very very short.
In case you can’t tell, I’m happier than a pig in shit to be in this band, and making this music with these people. They rule, and we rule. There’s a vibe we’re hitting that’s… well, it’s FUCKING GONZO, that’s all. There are recordings, but we live to play live because THAT. IS. WHERE. IT’S. AT. And you can disagree with that, and all it means is that you’re fundamentally wrong and need to get out more. And that's OK, because here we are. Live is the shit, and if you don’t know it, come see us and we’ll show ya.

News Just In!!! Chris Gonzos star geetar pupil has broken her arm in a freak see saw accident. We caught up with her whilst she was watching motorhead on scuzz channel, she remarked "when my armn is better I want to play guitar crazier than that....."
