'Dotte Arts Project

About me:

The 'dotte Arts Project, also known as the 'dAP, is expanding its goals to promote emerging arts that encompass all of Metro Detroit. We want to give our artists exposure to markets and places that aren't normally exposed to emerging arts. We want people to realize the possibilities of purchasing art by newer artists and crafters with the end result being a stronger art community. We want to help artists to realize and connect with the public to whom they want to sell.

Throughout the year we plan to have our main festival with the Wyandotte Street Art Fair but also art openings and art centered events throughout the year. We aim to continually expand our reach to other communities in and around Detroit.

We also want to include crafters. Detroit has a great crafting community that tows the line between craft and art that many times it's hard to tell the difference.

Our reach also includes the other fine arts such as music, theatre, prose and poetry. Anytime we have a chance to work with creative individuals we want to do so!
