Giving Thanks every day can be a useful reminder that the act of being thankful automatically aligns our energy with the flow of those things we are thankful for.. It is also one of the fastest ways to align ourselves with "that which we say we want".. The act of being thankful is actually MORE effective than the actual "wanting" itself.. When we want, we are keeping ourselves in the state of wanting. Whatever we focus on, gets bigger. When we are focused on "that which we do NOT have..or that which is causing us pain" we get MORE of exactly that..which causes MORE discomfort, more wanting, which causes feelings of lack etc as it continues a downward spiral from there. When we are thankful however, we are automatically matching the energy of those things we appreciate and calling MORE of those things TO us. So practice being thankful for those things which you do NOT yet have.. Act as IF you have them already, BELIEVE you have them and FEEL what that feels like to have them... See what happens.
