| About The Drexel TrebleMakers |
The TrebleMakers are the only all-female group at Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA. They have come a long way from their humble beginnings back in 2001. Over the years TrebleMakers have boasted some supremely talented ladies, and currently are made up of 15 hot songsters.
The ladies sing a variety of styles from rock to country, R&B to alternative, nothing is out of the realm of capability! The girls enjoy road gigs and their favorite event all year is A Cappella Fest which is the invitational festival they throw every winter. In 2007, the TrebleMakers held their first annual PhilACappella, a concert featuring Philadelphia area groups. All proceed benefitted PhilAbundance, Philadelphia's food-rescue organization. It was such a success that it is now a yearly event!
Throughout the years, the TMs have seen many members come and go. The dream of the TrebleMakers was finally substantiated with the release of their first CD, Sunglasses at night in January of 2006. The TMs know that every member over the years made that CD a possibility. The CD has a total of 15 tracks is currently available for sale through CDBaby.com.
The TrebleMakers have also released yet another disc. The new CD, Classy Girls Drink Boone's, was released in Winter 2009 and includes highlights from our 2006-2008 repertoire and is available for purchase by emailing dutreblemakers@gmail.com
