The two artist met in 2001 while serving in the U.S. Army, where they soon realized that they shared a common passion and decided to coalesce. Known for their first class hooks and versatility, Drop Squad continues to be a force to be reckoned with. Madoa the MC with an eclectic feel for music is marked by his stunning delivery, versatility, flow, lyrics, emotion, and his unbelievable capacity for knowledge. Botti, the soft spoken Baltimore marauder, is to simply put it, a LYRICAL GENIUS. His ablity to put words together is reminiscent of Nas in his ymes, a feat that leaves the audiece mesmirized as if they acted out the lyrics themselves. Drop Squad's main goal is to bring quality Hip-Hop to those people who are patiently waiting for the music to return to its essence. Hip-Hop is a contuization of Black expression in the Americas, and joins the long list of other art forms created by those great people, i.e. Jazz, Blues, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Rock and Roll, Samba, Rumba and Salsa. Hip-Hop has become a global phenomenom and continues to cross over racial, ethnic and religious boundaries like no other art form. With that said Hip-Hop must be protected and kept pure, so people world wide can get a since of what true Hip-Hop is, which is so much more than what seems to be offered today. Hip-Hop isnt just limited to a specific region or style, Hip-Hop is everything.
