The Drownout is an Atlanta indie rock band that merges powerful melodies, eerie atmospherics, and fast, driving dance beats into conscious, heartfelt songs designed to move those listening -- literally.
A part of the newest wave of New Wave-inspired bands, The Drownout distinguishes itself from its colleagues by combining an unapologetic musicality with a high-energy performance that one would typically only expect from a hardcore punk band.
