(hi! to sign up for the band's list & get quicker updates, send us an email at theduskdevils@yahoo.com ... also, a little more music is at http://www.bakotopia.com/home/User/theduskdevils) (this is the band page. jenny angel's page is at www.myspace.com/duskdevils)... The Dusk Devils play drivingly uptempo rockabilly, boogie-woogie, & various twanging & banging "American music." The band began as one person writing Bakersfield Sound-style honky-tonk tunes to get rid of heartaches. Then she turned to the more upbeat repertoire she's always loved & joined up w/others, & now the band's adding originals - no heartache tunes, tho!
In addition to The Dusk Devils, Jenny also does a one-woman rockabilly-punk act at times & recorded a little EP of it... Email if you're interested. Dusk Devils play for the joy of playing music they love, to give the audience the best show possible, & to "bring forth the collective knowledge of those that came before" (Phil Alvin).
A more professional bio will come one day, but probably not. :)
