Demo- THE FIELD (2005)
The group starts in the Spring of 2004 formed by 4 guys previously members of different bands of beat, surf, psychedelia and hard rock. - The FIELD wants to re-create the exiting sound of sixties, using original instruments and effects, their music is fresh and primitive. Some of them are also collecting vintage instruments, clothes and original 45 records and loves mods, scooters, b-movies and strange things. Now some of their original material is sung in Italian-language. After some gigs in the Varese and Verbano Area, the Field recorded a demo in May 2005 with six songs, including two originals, than they played in La Spezia, Pavia (2006) and in Sestri Levante in March of 2007 during a Mod gathering. Also in 2007 the group recorded a self-produced cd titled "In The Basement"; with sixteen tracks, including six originals. In May 2009 The Field was invited to play at International Overthrow Pop Festival at the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool, together with dozen of American and European groups in front of an enthusiastic audience. They received positive rewiews from all the local press and from the sixties's lovers, that declared The Field "as a genuine and inventive group".
Il gruppo comincia nella primavera del 2004, formato da quattro tipi precedentemente coinvolti in altre bands di beat, r&b e hard rock. I FIELD vogliono ricreare l'eccitante suono degli anni sessanta, usando strumenti ed effetti originali dell'epoca; la loro musica è fresca e primitiva. Alcuni di loro collezionano strumenti vintage, vestiti d'annata e vinili a 45 giri e amano i mods, gli scooters, i film di serie b e altre cose strane. Dopo aver suonato in varie località del Varesotto e del Verbano, i Field hanno registrato un demo nel mese di maggio del 2005, contenente sei pezzi tra cui due canzoni originali; poi hanno suonato a La Spezia e Pavia (2006) e a Sestri Levante nel marzo del 2007, in occasione di un evento Mod. Sempre nel 2007 il gruppo ha registrato un cd autoprodotto intitolato "In The Basement", con sedici pezzi che comprendono anche sei tracce originali. nel maggio del 2009 sono stati invitati a suonare all'International Overtrhow Pop Festival al famoso Cavern Club di Liverpool, assieme ad altri gruppi americani ed europei; e si sono esibiti di fronte ad un pubblico entusiasta. Hanno ricevuto recensioni positive dalla stampa locale e dagli appassionati del genere che hanno decretato i Field come "Un gruppo genuino ed inventivo".
--THE FIELD IN ITALIANO--
il gruppo ha tradotto parte del suo repertorio dall'inglese e ora canta anche in italiano!!! Tra i brani proposti oltre alle "classiche" Ragazzo di Strada dei Corvi e Yeeeeeeh dei Primitives ci sono la devastante La Vostra Libertà dei Pooh (si proprio loro....), e una bella versione di Paint it Black rifatta da Caterina Caselli (Tutto Nero). Alcuni dei pezzi originali diventano:"SOGNI" (Do You Really Think...) e "SOTTO UN CIELO BLU (In The Fog).

Il ns studio ha la potenzialità di produrre video clip di alta qualità, mettendo a disposizione registi e direttori di fotografia professionisti impegnati quotidianamente nel settore Oltretutto se vi strippa l'idea di provare il glorioso e insuperabile sound ANALOGICO suonate al ns campanello per provare l'indimenticabile esperienza dlla registrazione su 2"24 tracce!!!! Il ns studio, se Vi può interessare, attualmente sta seguendo diverse band e ci interesserebbe supportarvi nel realizzare i Vs progetti. Se siete interessati fateci sapere in modo da potervi inviare un'offerta che andrebbe a comprendere oltre la registrazione, il mix e il master, anche la produzione di un videoclip finalizzato su DVD nel formato multicanale (DOLBY DIGITAL) oltre che alla standardizzazione per l'emissione su MTV, ALL MUSIC e canali satellitari dedicati.
