Lisbon's Rock&Roll outlaws The Sadists are formed mainly by veterans in the Portuguese Punk scene. Not happy with the turn "Punk Rock" made in the 21st century, they decided to set a few things straight and start the fire on stage throughout the country. Taking influence from American and Aussie Punk from the late 70's, the Sadists are a new hope for the wretched. Six songs of their own (a few in Portuguese language) and one Xutos & Pontapés cover from 1978 marks a testimony of a record who have been recorded in 1980 and now would be in the same honor gallery as Aqui Del Rock (pioneers of Punk in Portugal). The Sadists bring the danger, fun and sex into Rock&Roll in a positive way. No GG wannabe's, no political manifesto and definately no sissy emo punk! Next time you think about longhaired Garage Punk, think about the Sadists! It's for real!! (Split release with V.D.C. Records)
The Sadists were formed in the summer of 2006 by Smash (vocals) and Stash (guitar) as a tribute to their Punk Rock forgotten heroes of the underground. Soon joined Flesh on bass and Crash on drums and after a few months they start to terrorize the stages in Portugal (and Spain), then in 2007 the record 7 tracks for their self-released "Ira da Corrente" Mini LP. The band kept on playing occasionally live even opening for bands like The Lords of Altamont, Adam West, Hangmen, etc. Suddenly Smash "dies" on stage, the band rests in pain for a while and returns with a new line-up in late 2009, as THE LEGION OF THE SADISTS with the Ghost of Smash on vocals, founder member Stash on guitar and Flesh on bass, plus new recruits Peter Panzer on drums and Trash "Ironfist" on the second guitar.
New songs in the works and a new album recorded soon, sees the L.O.T.S. with a new sound, expanding much more their high energy hard rock influences but maintaining the raw power that made them popular in the beginning. As said previously, something wicked this way comes...the Legion of the Sadists will reach you!!

Oi pessoal... As "Sementes da Desordem" estão em contagem decrescente para a propagação oficial e desvendamos mais um tema do EP, "Escravo do Prazer".
Estamos a chegar ao fim de mais um ano e a época natalicia vai promovendo o capitalismo e o consumismo, pelo menos para os que vão podendo. Altura de lavar consciencias e de "ajudar o proximo"... E é no ambito do espirito de natal que os Ervas Daninhas irão ter durante todo o mês de Dezembro e até ao fim do ano mais um tema que faz parte do EP que está para sair brevemente, o tema tem por titulo "Escravo do Prazer" e apela ao prazer, ao sexo e ao amor. Explodão de prazer e façam-se viver!!
Aproveitamos também para deixar agradecimentos especiais a todos os que nos têm ajudado e apoiado neste e noutros anos. Agradecimentos ainda ao Paulão (Decreto 77) que gravou, produziu e foi o 6º elemento da banda no EP - "Sementes da Desordem"; João (Decreto 77) pela grande participação no tema "Guitarras de Guerra"; ao Arroja e ao Igor no "filme" criado para o tema "Bar da GNR".
