Sus canciones abarcan diversas temáticas: la vida, la muerte, esoterismo, cierta amarga alegría, la búsqueda del conocimiento y la luz, el mundo onírico y el desamor. Siempre han querido plasmar un sentimiento en cada canción utilizando la música como medio, sentimientos con los que el público pueda identificarse.
Sus fuentes de inspiración son muy variadas: todo tipo de arte, paisajes evocadores, símbolos ancestrales... Entre los grupos que más han marcado a The Eternal Fall, podemos mencionar a Fields of the Nephilim, Bauhaus, the Cure, Joy Division, Faith and the Muse, Qntal, Diary of Dreams y Dead Can Dance, entre otros.
'Here we begin to tell the story of how Sol and David Tenza formed ‘The Eternal Fall’. It all started when Sol showed David his songs which he had been working upon. David was already playing in two other bands at the time, however as soon as his eyes laid upon Sol’s songs, he left the two bands and started work on the ‘Eternal Fall’ project in 2001. Eternal Fall practiced none stop for two years and during this time they played at the Directo Jazz bar (Elche, Alicante, Spain) for the first time joined by other bands from the city. After a lot of concerts in the city and its surroundings, they eventually played in Madrid as a support band of “Diary of Dreams”. They continued to play in different festivals with bands such as: Nosferatu, Garden of Delight, Unheilig, And One, Invencible Spirit, A.S.P, Elusive Sieben, Lahka Muza, Screaming Banshee Aircrew, Trobar de Morte, Narsilion, Aseptic Room, Naught Zombies, Charlotte Shadows, My Own Gravity, Wiching hour, Vendemmian, Voices of Masada, Quidam and much more…'
The Eternal fall, compuesto por David (bajos, teclados y percusión) y Sol (voces, guitarras, teclados y percusión) comienza a principios del 2001. Tras muchas actuaciones en diversas salas de su ciudad y alrededores tienen el honor de compartir escenario con Diary of dreams en Madrid, después comienzan a participar en algunos festivales de carácter nacional e internacional, compartiendo escenario con grupos como Garden of delight, And One, Invincible spirit, Trobar de morte, Unheilig, Nosferatu, Narsilion, Aseptic room, entre muchos otros. Recientemente han participado en el Beyond the veil festival en la ciudad de Leeds (U.K) junto con grupos como A.S.P, Elusive, Screaming Banshee Aircrew, Sieben o Lahka Muza, festival que les ha ayudado para darse a conocer fuera de su tierra natal.
