The Experiments are a San Diego band with influences ranging from The Ramones, The Who, The Kinks and The Clash, to Jane's Addiction and Green Day. For over 11 years, the groups songs have reflected a tradition of raw Rock'n'Roll energy, perfected over several cross country tours, CD releases and drummers.
In 1994, guitarists Dan Bonn, formerly of the New York based Dead Ducks, and Andy Guyette, fresh from the trenches of the LA scene with Beverly's Pills, started writing songs together. After the addition of bass player Dave Blood from Chicago, the nucleus of the band was complete.
Re-invigorated by the addition of Brian Chase on drums in 2003, The Experiments are a band reborn, with every song reflecting Chase's manic energy. Formerly of The Suburban Rejects of Boston, Chase brings
punk sensibility and attitude that fits perfectly with The Experiments aggressive song writing. Chase's influence can be heard in 2005's "The Experiments", a half live, half studio CD recorded in San Diego in March 2005.
