The First are a melodic rock band from Cambridgeshire. Completing the lineup during the summer of 2006, the band started working towards the release of their first EP, 'Straight Through Til Morning'. The EP proves the bands abilty to blend driving rock soundscapes with catchy pop melodies, a unique sound that has lead them to support bands such as Wheatus, Gallows, Senses Fail, Bring Me The Horizon, Bloodhound Gang and Furthest Drive Home, to name but a few, The First are a band that's happy tearing up the stage with indie shoegazers to metalcore screamophiles and every guitar genre in-between.

Erm we're currently writing songs for our mini album atm, its going pretty well. Had an awesome show at Joiners last night. Never played there before so its nice to have such a good reception!
