Much can be said about The Greenery in their short 2 years since starting the band; anyone who's seen them play (or even met them) generally has plenty to say about them. Their entertaining live show and capturing charisma is infectious and addictive.
This Long Beach quintet is proud of their So. Cal. heritage, with state flags blazing and beach native appearance, the band has developed a unique identity by combining huge catchy rock hooks with enough toughness to move a pit without frightening away the timid. Surely, they represent California better than reruns of 90210 and The O.C.
In early 2008, The band signed up with new indie startup New Agenda Records, co-founded by producer Ryan Baker (Rx Bandits, The Sound of Animals Fighting, Escape the Fate) and quickly entered the studio to record their debut EP "Fever"; 6 songs of hard, fast heavy rock that you can't seem to put away.
The band has done it's share of nationwide touring with acts such as "Write this Down" (Tooth and Nail), "No Bragging Rights" (Pure Noise Ent.) not to mention sharing the stage with Bring Me The Horizon, Chain Gang Of 1974, Bless the Fall, Between the Buried and Me, Horse the Band, I am Ghost, Vanna, and a handful of others.
In the future, expect The Greenery to continue their brutal touring schedule throughout the US, expanding internationally in 2009. While Snoop Dog may have first introduced you to their hometown, The Greenery will be the ones to show you how Long Beach likes to party!
