THE GUTTERFIGHTERS X
SHINDIG MAGAZINE REVIEW AUGUST 2009: "The Gutterfighters - A band that keeps improving with each successive IPO. They used to be strictly a pop/punk band, but their sound has evolved into something much mroe polished and sophisticated, featuring that signature Liverpool sound. Sure, lots of hard strumming on the acoustic and jaunty rhythms are defining characteristics. Lead vocalist Glenn Skelhorn has personality to spare, and he puts it to good use as a front man."

Hello lads - caught your set in the Cavern pub Sunday and thought you was fucking wicked!
Wicked songs on your profile and they sound even better live... you really put on a great live show!! Loved your singers shoes and guitarists shirt too! Keep up the good work and come to London soon!
We communicate again! I'm doing good cheers mate. I'm down in Rochester these days. I turned over to the dark side I'm afraid....started to work for a big defence company, became a slave to the pay check and all that...I went on a bit of a tangent though before i got here...played in a filthy rock band in Manc for a year (Xiola Blue, check it out on myspace), then moved to Anglesey to work in a surf shop and attempt to write a book...its a lot harder than i first imagined, although i'm sure you'd be proud that i tried...it was a modern existentialist novel, trying to spread the gospel in a modern way.
Anyways, we really should hook up at some point and shoot the breeze man...its been too long..let me know if you're heading down south at any point and I'll do the same if heading north.
Keep in touch my old amigo, good to hear from you.
Get in fuckin touch and let me know how the devil you're getting on.
Its Ben, i went to uni with you...played music...gigs n ting...remember. Simple little acoustic music which we tried to spread around the north west with very little success...
Anyways, please reply mate...it would be good to have a catch up.
