Hello everyone! We (Mitch, Meg, Genni, Johnny, Matt, Alex and Nick) are the Heat Machine! We love dancing, playing music, hanging out and being a part of the life of the party. We began as a band in 2006 and played our first show on Skalloween night at a dancing-room-only house show in our hometown, Lincoln, Nebraska. Since that show we have been writing and playing and scripting our lives around our love for music, this band, and each other. We demo'ed our first material in 2007 and released our first EP disc "Limited Edition" independently on New Years Eve 2007 at Duffy's. We are the house band for the notorious No Coast Derby Girls roller derby team, and tour as much as we can. We have met tons of people on tour who make us never want to stop playing! We cant wait to get on the road again. We hope to see you all soon!
Our debut LP, "No Coast Dance Party," is coming soon! More details as we get them.
The Heat Machine friends guess what we have. Thats right a review with your favorite band. Come on down and check it out and please be kind enough to ADD US as your friend to get great interviews and reviews from all kinds of music. I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU TO THE HEAT MACHINE FOR EVERYTHING YOU GUYS KICK ASS.

Dude! Hell yeah!! You guys were awesome!! Let us know next time you're headed this way! Also, we may try and head out your way over the summer, so we should totally play together again then!! Hope to see you play again soon!!
There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
XXX - If you meet the minimum qualifications as described above. Email a link for your MySpace Page and if applicable, a link for your website to: recordingartistsearch@gmail.com
Only send one email with your links. Due to the volume of responses normally received for these types of opportunities. After review of your material, you will only be contacted if there is an interest in attending one of your shows by a label representative. As such please to not send any follow up emails regarding selections. If you were not contacted back, there was not an interest.
Thank You.

my FUCKING SWEET heat machine sticker has been added to the plethora of pop punk radness that is my sticker collection on my green soccer-mom van. I can't decide if i should decorate more of my stuff with the remaining stickers or just commit the coolest act of vandalism EVER and just slap them on other people's cars...
Let's cut the "Let's play a show together sometime" talk and make that "sometime" now. I'm thinkin the last weekend in November, somewhere in Omaha (The Garage maybe, or failing that the 49er). I got a few bands in mind and I think we could put on an awesome show. The 27th (friday) works best for us, but we can make either day work.
hey hows it goin? jus stoppin by to tell you that you should vote for one of your favorite songs by me on the poll under the contact box on my page ....and while ur on my page sign my guestbook rite under my music player =]
I didn't think I'd ever find a band I liked better than DHC, but you guys' tunefulness is bringing me over :-) Maybe someday you'll play a show within driving distance...like, say, 500 miles? I'd make *that* drive, no problem!
I think the frequency with which I visit this page in anticipation of the new full length says deeply troubling psychological things about me....but I WILL settle for stickers while waiting. How do I score some?! - Emo
