We've been called incredible, but unless you want to get sued, we prefer to be known simply as The Heat Machine. It keeps us humble. And we don’t want you to get sued. But what you do in the privacy of your own home is your business, not ours. ;)
You see, we come from humble beginnings. Our mutual love for pop, punk, ska, and dance music made us want to start a band. We played our first show to a packed basement at the House of Awesome on October 13th, 2006 for Skalloween. It was awesome. There were nuns, ghouls, booze, and sweaty dancing kids everywhere.
Dancing people are the kind we like, and we saw many in 2007. We had the great pleasure of being picked as the house band for the No Coast Derby Girls, and we also got our first taste of touring as a band, and great shows with incredible bands (not us, mind you – the other bands were incredible).
2008 has been amazing so far with the release of our debut EP, “Limited Edition,” on New Years Eve to a packed house at Duffy's Tavern with our good friends the Killigans and our return as the Derby Girls’ house band (this year we have the honor of sharing the stage with The Pharmacy Spirits). Now we can’t wait to get back out on the road! Look for us in your town and come dance with us!
Put this in your profile!
