THE HOLY KINGS, how the hell did we come up with that name? Well, a long story, I guess. One thing is for sure: The four of us weren't sent to the scene's surface in 2006 to complete a mission, the mission to reinvent punk rock music, or whatever. But more importantly: neither do we commit ourselves to sound, look and act like we want to be associated with anything at first glance - except for ambition, passion, and being punk rockers by heart. So if you want to categorize us stylistically, here’s some characteristics: punk, not ashamed to mingle with rock’n’roll. A strong love for melody and catchiness. Fast? We love it. Midtempo? Badass! What better way to prove intensity!
First full lengh "Freakshow" released in spring 2011 on Wanda records, new split 7'' with WHITE FLAG out in december 2011 via Wanda / Down the Drain Records! Stay Tuned

    Somewhat of a side project in mid-2006. A four-piece shortly after. Things were now taken seriously. First songs spread on stage in 2007. First recordings taken in early 2008, heavy rehearsing always on schedule. In 2008+2009, we broadcast intense live shows, and things were finally taken super seriously. More recordings done during that time, and we started giving away our first full-length to interested fans, which proved our point that things were going superduper serious now. In 2010, a secret, well-organized recording session took place somewhere at a strange place called... northern Regensburg. This session seemed to have magical powers, so there's gonna be another album out. We also come to realize that after all, we have never taken anything really seriously. We're a punk rock band, obsessed with punk rock and revolving around punk rock 24/7, being real rocky punkers. Go see us someday soon and get your own impression. This summer, we proudly announced our collab with WANDA RECORDS.
