Nach halbjähriger Pause ist The Holy Snail nun wieder zu sehen und zu hören. Mit ihrem neuartigen Grunge und teilweise psychedelischen Einflüssen werden sie ihre im Frühjahr 2010 in den Hardstudions aufgenommene EP - eine Form zwischen Single und Album - präsentieren. Gegründet wurde The Holy Snail im Jahr 2006. Die Band besteht aus Yannick Gisler (Bass/Gesang), Raymond Schlatter (Gitarre), Thomas Jufer (Orgel/SFX), Noah Schamberger (Drums) und Pascal Burger (Gitarre/Gesang). Nach diversen Auftritten in der Schweiz und einer Tour quer durch Deutschland haben die fünf jungen Musiker zu ihrem Druckvollen Sound gefunden. - Anzeiger vom 10. Sept. Fue en mi época de estudiante, cuando cursaba la carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica en el Instituto Politécnico Nacional, ESIME Azcapotzalco. 2006 fue el año del nacimiento de Diego de La Mattaz. Me nombré así en honor a los moralistas franceses, como La Rochefoucauld, Vauvenargues, Monbron, Sade, etc. De ellos salió el "de La". El Mattaz fue en honor al pintor chileno Roberto Matta. Sólo le agregé la z. ¿Increible no? En realidad.... Sí, es increíble, audaz, pero sobretodo, contundente. Diego de La Mattaz había nacido.
