We're the Humane Society of the United States, the nation's largest and most powerful animal protection organization. Since 1954 we’ve been fighting to reduce their suffering, and eliminate cruelty and abuse. We celebrate the wonderful bond between humans and animals, and assist when disasters strike.

We care about and strive to help all animals. The HSUS has many programs that help local animal shelters, as well as educational materials on pet ownership. Although cats and dogs are an important part of many of our families, there are so many more animals out there that need our – and your – help.
For instance, did you know:
The Canadian government still allows fisherman to club baby seals for their fur?
American horses are still being slaughtered so their meat can be eaten abroad?
Animals including dogs and cats are killed in the most gruesome ways in China, where many of our shirts and jackets with fur and fur-trim (some falsely marked as “faux”) come from?
Most of the eggs and meat we eat and buy in the grocery stores come from farms where animals are confined in overcrowded cages all their lives, with no room to roam or even turn around?
Many cats and dogs sold in pet stores come from puppy mills where animals are caged and continually bred for profit, then raised in poor conditions with virtually no human contact?
Some hunting facilities dump animals into a caged-in area where they are shot at with no reasonable chance to escape?
We are working hard every day to change these horrible situations for our sweet, defenseless animal friends. But we can’t do it without our supporters and friends. Are you ready to make a difference?

ANIMAL ABUSER PLEASE TAKE A LOOK IN HIS PICS THE FIRST ALBUM PLEASE----------------- Bulletin Message ----------------- From: MARCH FOR SENTIENT BEINGS (OFFICIAL PAGE ) Date: Jul 1, 2008 1:08 PM
I just watched the video you posted as a bulletin and it's unbelieveble!!!! What did these animals do to deserve this?!?!?!?!? It's horrifying and disgusting!!! These people have no heart and it shows. I bet they treat their own pets this way. It's amazing how we treat certain animals as "pets", we love them and treat them as family, and yet we treat others as "food", we beat them and cause such great pain. I'm so ashamed.
1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you is likely to be painful.
2. Give me time to understand what you want of me.
3. Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well-being.
4. Don't be angry with me for long and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends, your entertainments, but I have only you.
5. Talk to me. Even if I don't understand your words, I do understand your voice when speaking to me.
6. Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it.
7. Before you hit me, before you strike me, remember that I could hurt you, and yet, I choose not to bite you.
8. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I'm not getting the right food, I have been in the sun too long, or my heart might be getting old or weak.
9. Please take care of me when I grow old. You too, will grow old.
10. On the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please. Never say you can't bear to watch. Don't make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me if you are there, because I love you so.
