The Infader got his first dose of the DJ world in the early 90's when some friends he knew had just robbed a local music store for a Gemini DJ coffin with 2 turntables and a mixer that they had setup at their crib. They had a nice vinyl collection from weekly trips to the local music retail store where they would shove the hottest new Hip Hop vinyl releases down their pants and jacket and walk right out the door. The Infader started collecting vinyl too for the unreleased b-side remixes before he even had turntables so by this time he already had a decent record collection. For the time being he would practice on his dual cassette tape player creating pause sample mixtapes and battle it out with his partner Next One. Then he decided to borrow his parents Samsung Turntable and hooked it up to his dual cassette player. He then glued a quarter to the headshell and took a bed sheet and cutout a slipmat so he could practice scratching until he got a job to be able to afford a real setup. He would watch early DMC battle videos to get ideas of what to do when that day would come along.
Later on when he was old enough to get a decent job he saved enough money to buy his 1st pair of technics SL1200 turntables that his so called "friends" who got him started in the beginning tried breaking into his house to get. But that didn't stop him from rocking local sweet sixteen's and high school prom's which made him the party rocking DJ he is today!!!!.......
------ The Infader has recently picked up a sponsorship with Volvo & VW, Djs for the PUMA, Guess & Metropark stores in the St Johns Town Center.He also traveled to Shanghai China in the summer of 2007 for a month long residency at Club BON BON & IN CLUB in Hangzhou. He currently holds 4 weekly residencies around town (Check Schedule)
