Peace, blessings, and hip-hop. President Obama has called us to action on National Service Day, 9-11-09! Green the Block is going down tomorrow in Charlotte's Hidden Valley nighborhood, on Sugar Creek Road, from 5pm-9pm. A cleaner environment and green jobs now! Ketchmore Kids will be getting it in, along with Masjid Ash-Shaheed, Cohesion Marketing, and others. This is a national effort, called to action by The Hip-Hop Caucus, Green For All, and The President Himself! You can help by coming out to support, or sharing this message with at least 3 friends in the Charlotte area. BLAST THIS OUT!
Thanks to Cohesion Marketing (Mellie Mel!), Ketchmore Kids has been put on to the Green The Block Initiative, along with the Hip-Hop Caucus and Green For All! The purpose of this campaign is to educate and mobolize low-income communities and communities of color to ensure a voice and stake in the clean-energy economy!
