The Laughing Bones were originally formed by founding member Dave Perron on vocals, rhythm guitar, Rich Zimmerman from Slipstream on mandolin, Paul Watinas on upright bass and Mike Jeffries on dobro/slide guitar in 2002. Over the years the lineup has changed and currently includes Dave, Bob Masters on guitar, Patrick Padgett on banjo, Dave Donahue on bass and Jake Wolf from Shakedown Street on drums,

The Bones have played with The Del McCoury Band, Bill Nershi & Honkytonk Homeslice, The Drew Emmitt Band, Dark Star Orchestra, Great American Taxi, The Young Dubliner's, The Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash, and many more - not mention hundreds of headlining show's throughout Colorado.
