Sounds Like"The Lobster Quadrille rant and rave like molested altar boys bent on revenge. The music's tone is holy rollin' gospel amidst their odd rock of ages and blues. If Captain Beefheart went to church, paid attention, and lit a candle, this is probably how he'd come out. Not for the faint of heart or innocent. This band is brilliant."

   About The Lobster Quadrille
Amber and Solomon are from Georgia. Everyone else is from Rochester, we think. We all live in Rochester. Except for Kevin and Lauren, who live in Nunda.

Solomon started writing these songs in 1998 while living in Brooklyn Heights. A few years later he did the first Lobster Quadrille performance with the famous Aaron Fenner at the famous Guffin House in famous Ellicottville, NY. Solomon moved to Rochester and performed by himself at various coffee houses in Ellicottville and Buffalo. Then Molly started playing violin with him and that was nice but she got tired of driving and not getting paid. At some point Mikey started playing drums and then Kevin started playing bass. Then Mikey dropped out right before a Bug Jar show and Amber, Keith, and Lauren filled in on percussion. That stuck, and later, early one morning, Kevin and Solomon talked a drunken Amy into playing clarinet. Then at some point Kris, who had briefly played keyboard at rehearsals, bought a house with Emily and in back was a carriage house with Mark living in it. Mark started playing drums and that pretty much brings you up to speed except that Keith started playing keyboards and Amber started playing accordion and sometimes Kevin plays trombone.

Things are fabulous here! I'm working in a film preservation lab and still belly dancing. That's the majority of what I put my mind to.
I miss all of you and hope that I can fly out there for a little visit this year. Maybe late summer if things are looking up.
Give everyone my best!
