Emily Lazar founded The Lodge in 1997, opening its first studio in the heart of New York City's Greenwich Village.
Offering audio mastering services along with specialty recording, some of her first projects, including Sinead O'Connor and Saturday Night Live, brought Emily immediate attention. Soon, higher profile artists David Bowie, Lou Reed, and Destiny's Child sought the technical excellence and creative vision that The Lodge could provide.
Check out The Lodge's Discography, and you'll see a diverse client roster including The Shins, Third Eye Blind, Depeche Mode, Madonna, Missy Elliot, The All American Rejects, The Walkmen, Against Me!, The Prodigy, Garbage, Vampire Weekend, The Donnas, Aimee Mann, Blaqk Audio, Morrissey, Dean & Britta, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Stars, Asobi Seksu, RZA (Wu-Tang Clan), Sonic Youth, BT, Cannibal Ox, Tiësto and Natalie Merchant. Soundtracks mastered at The Lodge include Training Day, Boys Don't Cry, Hedwig & The Angry Inch, Heroes (TV Soundtrack), and American Psycho.
