Formed in late 2004 by Bob Merrigan (ex-New Jersey Fairplan, The Fairplan) and Shawn Macomber (ex-Empathy Test, Imagine Being Deaf), The Long Forgotten was born of a shared love for 80s thrash metal and hardcore. While muscially modern and progressive, the spirit of the band remains closer to those early influences.

this whole "queen of austin" thing is catching on..what did you do???!?? The next thing you know I'll have those pink bath towels embroidered with "queen of everything" and get one of those bureau mirrors with the tiara hologram embedded so that every time I look in the mirror...and say things like "yay princess parking!" and only wear pink and purple velveteen... and well...you know, I could just get really out of hand with this...but thanks for the hype anyway.
